Want to try something new? Whether you’re looking for a social activity or competitive fun, why not try Bowls? It’s a game of skill that provides great personal satisfaction and promotes a healthy lifestyle. Plus, it’s a great way to make friends easily.
With organised games every Wednesday and Saturday, bowls can comfortably fit into the family timetable. The games start at 12.30pm and usually finish by 4.30pm with a break for afternoon tea at 2.30pm.
Members phone at 11.30am to confirm they wish to play and arrive at the club by 12.15pm.
Bowls is fun for people of all ages, and it only takes 15 minutes to learn the basics. Even visiting bowlers are welcome. If you haven’t tried bowls yet, come along and learn to play. Free coaching is available, and the club provides bowls, jacks, and mats for use. With club competitions held throughout the year, inter-club games, and open days scheduled, there’s always something to look forward to on the greens.
